The space
Our space is warm and welcoming at the living quarters of the family art studio. The spirit of caring and laughter we've experience as parents and teachers at Daniels Family Pottery is well known, established, and awaiting you.
Over the last ten years we've offered retreats, workshops and camps, private lessons and exceptional birthday parties all of which were centered upon creativity. Throughout the years we've witnessed no shortage of joy and with Airbnb we've found a way to share that experience with guests overnighting in the Willamette Valley.
Coincidentally we'll be your neighbors. We're owners having lived on the next door property for twenty-four years. The pottery serves as our guest house for visiting artists. Both homes are situated together on a half-acre adjacent to Friendly Park.
Bedrooms are separate from cooking areas. Over 1000 square feet of space, no ladders nor lofts. We have full sized appliances and proper doors. And its private.
If you need even more space options include our in-law apartment next door to the pottery.
Pets are considered only on a case-by-case basis. If we do accept a pet, a $200 non-refundable fee would apply.
Guest access
Access to kitchen (well stocked with hand-made pottery, coffee, tea, herbs, two kinds of organic popcorn, and spices), heated bathroom, and large yard. We can accommodate you with locked storage for bicycles in the garage on the property.
Our backyard is a green zone between the house and park. In the springtime its an especially beautiful place for coffee or tea, listening to birds, wifi, and people watching.
Our organic garden using certified organic seeds expanded several times last summer. It is a labor of love built for our guests. Enjoy what is available during harvest time. It is for you.
We also have a pit fire with aged hand split firewood. Guests have enjoyed it for food and ambiance most months during the year. If you would like help getting it started let us know.
Interaction with guests
If you like the idea of hanging out in the studio feel welcome to sit and ask questions while we work. We're conversational and expect you may be too.
Other things to note
While the studio is a full service pottery we pay careful attention to cleanliness. The living quarters are maintained with high standards. We appreciate you taking off shoes when not in the pottery studio.
$100 per night for first two guests. $24 per night for each additional guest.
